About us: Two of your host Tina and Winton’s favourite things are Esperance and dogs. So, it was important to us that our holiday accommodation fitted around this. We love to tell our guests about places and experiences within Esperance that they might not always get from a tourism brochure.

About the units & property: There are just two self-contained units on the property with a large balcony overlooking the lake. The owners live upstairs. Each unit has a queen bed and is suitable for 1-2 adults (sorry, no children). We are also EcoValley Honey and love to give our guests a sample of our delicious raw, gourmet honey. If the chooks are being good girls, you’ll also get some fresh eggs. And… we encourage you to go for a wander and help yourself to whatever happens to be growing in our rambling garden, whilst you’re here.

Because it’s a doggy holiday too, your well-behaved dogs are welcome off-leash on the property. Please note: Whilst the property is fenced, there is no gate at the entry and exit. All the good doggy things – smells, lake, etc – are well away from the entrances and we’ve never had any issues.

Naming EcoValley Retreat: We decided some years ago, before the holiday accommodation was even an idea, to name the property. We’ve always felt that the property was a ‘retreat’ from day-to-day worries and the outside world so that part of the name was easy. We’re fairly eco-conscious. We are off-grid, use ecofriendly cleaning sprays and no nasties on our garden as we love our bees. Don’t worry, we have the mod-cons – you won’t be warming your hands or cooking your dinner over a campfire, although that’s fun too!

And… we live on Valley Road so that just seemed to fall into place.

Thanks for reading our story. We hope to meet you soon! x
